Jack Russell was born in Montebello, California on December 5, 1960.
He grew up with influences such as Robert Plant and Steven Tyler, and became a vocalist for many bands in high school and later on. He met Mark Kendall in a concert and began plans to form a band called Dante Fox.
Band manager Alan Niven and Kendall decided to change the name of the band to Great White because "that was Mark Kendall's nickname. He had very white hair and very light complexion. They called him the Great White".
Russell was with Great White from 1981 until 1996, then took three years off to record and release his first solo album, entitled Shelter Me, but rejoined in 1999 until the band broke up in 2001.
He toured solo under his own name briefly, then changed the band name to "Jack Russell's Great White" and toured from 2002 to 2005, while also releasing his second solo album For You in 2002.
In 2006, he began touring with the official Great White band when they reformed with their classic lineup, but left the band in 2009 due to a fall in his bathroom where he cracked two vertebrae and herniated a disc.
He had multiple back surgeries and was using a plethora of pain medication. Having fallen into alcoholism, the sudden death of his good friend Jani Lane of Warrant, propelled him to get help and become sober.
Fully recovered, he started touring again as Jack Russell's Great White in December 2011 to avoid confusion with the still-touring official Great White band which had continued onward in 2009 with a different singer
following Russell's departure.
In 2012, Russell guest-starred on VH1 Classics "That Metal Show", where he revealed his side of the Great White story, and how he was feeling well and ready for more.
In 2017, Jack Russell's Great White released their first album titled He Saw It Comin'. In August 2021, Jack Russell's Great White released a sequel to Great White's 1998 tribute album to Led Zeppelin titled
Great Zeppelin II: A Tribute to Led Zeppelin. On July 13, 2021, a cover of "Whole Lotta Love" was released.
In December of 2022, Jack launched his JackRussellsGreatWhiteMerch.com and Road Starz of Rock internet podcast.

Tony Cardenas-Montana joined Great White in 1987 and toured extensively with the band through '92. As a full member of the band, he recorded with them on the gold and multi-platinum selling and Grammy nominated "...Twice Shy", and the RIAA Gold "Hooked" album, and has Billboard charting writing credits on two singles (fan favorites "Mista Bone" and "Call it Rock 'n' Roll").
In 1992, he took a hiatus from performing in order to pursue other interests in the Internet and eCommerce world. In 2002, he co-founded www.diskfaktory.com, which would become an INC 500 Fastest Growing Company in 2005. Around this time, he also released his first solo album, "Tombstone Shuffle", to Japan, Europe and the US which has been subsequently re-released by Cleopatra Records.
In 2008 Tony conceived, launched, and produced "Monster Circus" – a precedent setting stage show at the Las Vegas Hilton, set in the theater made famous by Elvis. The elaborate stage show featured a host of rock star friends: Dee Snider (Twisted Sister), Fred Coury (Cinderella), Bruce Kulick (Kiss), John Corabi (Motley Crue) and Rudy Sarzo (Whitesnake, Ozzy, Quiet Riot), with dancers and acrobats.
In 2010, he got the call to join Slash's touring band filling in for a band regular for the Asia/Australia/New Zealand leg of Slash's tour. The end of that tour culminated in LIVE in studio recording at East/West Studios of "Slash – the iTunes Sessions" covering original Slash, Velvet Revolver, and Guns 'n Roses classics.
In 2019, Tony released, "Sugarbowl", as Shadow & The Thrill through Deko Entertainment distributed through Universal Music Group. "Sugarbowl" has been featured multiple times in Classic Rock Magazine and his blues cover of the Gnarls Barkley "Crazy" has been glowingly reviewed by Guitar World where his playing is described as "six-string heroics" and "slow-burning blues guitar jams."
He is a long-time touring member of Jack Russell's Great White, covering guitar, keyboards, and harmonica duties. His last collaboration with Jack and the band yielded the two debut singles - "Hard Habit" and "Sign of the Times" and an acoustic re-make of the "Once Bitten" album.
Currently, Tony fills his schedule with recording and live dates for Jack Russell's Great White, Shadow & The Thrill, and his Journey tribute band - JourneyUSA.

Dan McNay recalls, "Music became a passion at an early age." He went to his first concert in 1974, at the age of 6, with his mom to see Three Dog Night at the Concord Pavilion. He remembers looking at the stage and at all the people, and realizing the powerful effects of music. "From that point forward, music became a great significance to me and my life."
Dan McNay was born on June 14th, 1968 in Oakland, California, as the eldest son. He became a bass player by the age of 14, and never looked back. By the time he was 17 years old, he was in a touring cover band.
He wasn't old enough to get into the places they played, so he would wait outside in-between sets. "I was lucky enough to play with an experience drummer early on." HIs name was Charlie McGimsy, with Stone Ground and Tommy Tutone, and he was instrumental in teaching Dan how to "lock in with the drums and groove."
In 2002, Dan was presented with a "Sammy" Award (Sacramento Music Award) as the area's best bass player.
Dan McNay has Recorded, Performed, Toured or published with such artists as Frank Simes (Don Henley), Earl Slick (David Bowie), Terri Nunn (Berlin, Camp Freddy), Michael Lee Firkins, Frank Hannon Band, Tesla, and Montrose.
Dan has also co-produced albums with David Holman (No Doubt, Adema, Bush), and Davey Johnstone (Elton John, Davey Johnstone Band, Call Me Crazy), and Joe Johnston (Cake, Deftones, Slow Lorries).
Dan McNay is best known as the touring bass player for Ronnie Montrose, and now, Jack Russell's Great White.
